$1.5 MILLION FOR CCTV TO TACKLE CRIME ACROSS MACNAMARA
Federal Member for Macnamara Josh Burns today announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver $1.5 million for additional CCTVs in the City of Port Phillip.
This election commitment will strengthen community safety across Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Albert Park, Balaclava, St Kilda and, Elwood by deterring criminal activities and providing real-time surveillance and evidence for law enforcement.
A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will work with the City of Port Phillip to determine the most appropriate locations for the new CCTV cameras.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
